In Saransk, employees of the highway patrol service stopped a car - a Korean crossover. A resident of the Lyambirsky district, born in 1974, was driving. During the verification of documents, it turned out that the driver did not have a CTP policy. The fine for such a violation is 800 rubles.
To formalize the protocol, the car owner was offered to undergo the procedure in a patrol car. During the paperwork process, the driver refused to undergo a medical examination for alcohol intoxication and offered a bribe of 30 thousand rubles to a traffic police officer. The patrol officers drew up administrative reports on the driver who did not pass a medical examination and did not take out insurance. According to article 12.26 of the Code of Administrative Offences, refusal of an examination entails a fine of 30,000 rubles and deprivation of rights for a period of one and a half to two years. However, the driver did not give up trying to bribe in order to avoid punishment. Despite the fact that he was repeatedly warned about criminal liability for bribing an official, he continued to commit illegal actions that can be regarded as a crime.

It is important to emphasize that in 2024, this driver was brought to administrative responsibility seven times for violating traffic rules: four times for speeding and three times for not wearing seat belts. However, all fines were paid.
