The first stage of the children's yard football festival "Metroshka – 2024" was held in the Mordovian city of Ruzaevka. The games were held at the Himmash Stadium. The participants are young football players born in 2014-2015 and 2012-2013. There are 12 teams from Saratov, Ulyanovsk regions, the republics of Mordovia, Mari El and Chuvashia.

The main purpose of the event is to involve children in sports. Following the results of the competition, four tickets were awarded to participate in the Super Cup of the festival. Regardless of the results, all the young football players received gifts at the end of the tournament: T-shirts and sweets.

The Super Cup of the Metroshka tournament will be held in the Chelyabinsk region this fall.
