Novosibirsk Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev said that the renovation of school No. 32 is ahead of schedule. The educational institution is planned to be put into operation before the beginning of the next academic year.
The city is actively building and repairing schools. Work at School No. 32 began in April 2024. The building consists of two buildings, which are connected by a passage. The first was built in 1955, and the second in 1985. The school needed an overhaul.

During the work, the contractor will update the engineering networks, install new doors, repair the facade, equip ramps for people with limited mobility. 136 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes from the city, regional and federal budgets.
Repairs are ahead of schedule. The two-storey building is already 80-90% ready, and furniture can already be installed in some offices. The second building is currently undergoing the replacement of networks - electricity, ventilation, heating. Maxim Kudryavtsev ordered the relevant department to accelerate the purchase of necessary equipment for the school.
While the building is being renovated, students from the first to the fourth grade were assigned to the Novosibirsk City Pedagogical Lyceum named after Pushkin on Dobrolyubova Street. A school-home movement plan has been developed for the safety of students.

The design capacity of the educational institution is 600 people. Today, 604 people study there. Before the renovation, the building was in poor condition, there was no place for extracurricular activities. After the completion of the work, spaces for creativity and education of children will appear in the hall on the second floor. In addition, the library fund will be replenished. It will include printed and electronic publications.
The Novosibirsk City Hall also said that the tasks set for 2024 have been completed: lyceum No. 185 was commissioned, the building of Lyceum No. 9 was reconstructed. School No. 57 will be able to resume work at the beginning of 2025, and school No. 222 under construction is in a high degree of readiness.
