Novosibirsk Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev announced that a second rehabilitation center for participants in a special military operation will start operating in the new year. The institution will provide social and medical assistance to military personnel and their families. The center will appear on the right bank of the Ob River in the Dzerzhinsky district.

Last year, a Center for social and medical rehabilitation for participants of a special operation on the left bank of the river was opened in the capital of Siberia. It has the most modern equipment for patients with various types of injuries and wounds.
Following a meeting of the Department of Social Policy of the city, the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade and the city Department of Entrepreneurship, it was decided to develop in Novosibirsk a high-tech production of technical rehabilitation equipment for citizens with lesions of the musculoskeletal system. In addition, a project has been developed for the sports rehabilitation of participants in the special operation.

Also, with the participation of non-profit organizations, a new direction of the "School of Family Care" will be created - the care of relatives of participants in military operations who were wounded.
Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev instructed to collect and update the data of the social passports of Novosibirsk residents participating in the SVO and their families by the end of 2024, the Novosibirsk Administration said.
