Novosibirsk Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev checked how the construction of a music school in the Sovetsky district on Tereshkova Street is going. The work is in the final stage, now the finishing of the third and fourth floors is underway. At the moment, the thermal circuit of the building is closed and after the heating is started, workers will begin repairing the first floor. Specialists are currently laying external engineering networks on the territory, laying asphalt on sidewalks and driveways.
According to Maxim Kudryavtsev, the school provides 50 classes where students will study in several directions. There is also a large assembly hall, which can also be a concert hall. Modern equipment, furniture and tools will be purchased for the educational institution.

"Our young talents will have the opportunity to speak publicly in good conditions," stressed the mayor of Novosibirsk.
Recall that the construction of a music school in Akademgorodok began in the summer of 2023. The facility is planned to be commissioned in the fall of 2025. The difficulty lies in the fact that the school is being built in an area where there is a very dense building. The works are carried out within the framework of the regional state program "Culture of the Novosibirsk region". The general contractor of the facility is the Agroservice company.
Such a large-scale project in Novosibirsk is being implemented for the first time in the last few decades. And he is in great demand among the residents of the city. Now the music school is located in the basement of the Lyceum No. 130 named after Academician Lavrentiev. When the construction in Akademgorodok is completed, a new cultural center will appear in Novosibirsk.

"All conditions will be created for holding creative competitions and festivals of the highest level, and pupils will be able to receive high-quality musical education in spacious, fully equipped classrooms," Maxim Kudryavtsev summed up.
