A concert dedicated to the Year of the Family was held today in Voronezh, at the Palace of Culture. The head of the city Sergey Petrin visited it. He told about his impressions of the event on the Telegram channel.

"In the rush of urban issues and tasks that have to be solved almost around the clock, I try to find time and participate in socially significant events. As promised at the meeting of the Public Chamber, I attended a concert organized by its members for Voronezh families who have many children, raise special children, participate in the life of educational institutions, a special military operation," the Mayor of Voronezh wrote.

Sergey Petrin also thanked his colleagues for helping to organize such a holiday. As the mayor noted, such meetings are important for citizens and the festive concert was the logical conclusion of the Family Year.
"Family is the most precious thing, these are the people who support us in difficult times, no matter how hard it is for us – they help us in all matters. Many people sitting in this room are moms, dads, grandparents. I am also not only a dad, but already a grandfather," the mayor of Voronezh shared.

The teams of the Center for the Development of Children and Youth performed in front of the audience. Some of the rooms were attended not only by pupils, but also by their parents. The song about the family was performed by the director of the institution, Honored Teacher of Russia and member of the Public Chamber Tatyana Falkovich. Sergey Petrin separately noted the active life position of the teacher and her attentive attitude to the city and the country.

During the event, the Mayor of Voronezh also presented letters of thanks and a commemorative sign "Year of the Family – 2024" to representatives of the councils of parents of Voronezh schools. And in conclusion, he congratulated all those present on the upcoming New Year, stressing that this is primarily a family holiday that everyone has loved since childhood.
