Voronezh Mayor Sergey Petrin spoke about the construction and reconstruction of roads in the city in his official Telegram channel.

Among the significant objects that the head of the city drew attention to first of all is the understudy of Moskovsky Prospekt. According to Sergey Petrin, the main works on the 60th Army Street will be completed by the beginning of December. Now the contractor is installing traffic lights and road signs, after which the landscaping of the adjacent territory will begin, which will continue in the spring. At the same time, specialists are already carrying out landscaping. Instead of the originally planned 1300 trees, 1800 seedlings and another 800 shrubs will be planted.

Further, the mayor said that the construction and reconstruction of the roadway in the Shilovo microdistrict is being completed. Almost all the main work has already been completed, now specialists are equipping the sidewalk with ramps and installing lighting. In December, it is planned to launch traffic on this section.

At the Ostuzhevskaya interchange this year, work is underway from the Severny Bridge to the overpasses across the railway tracks. This is the final stage of modernization. At the moment, almost half of the reconstruction of engineering networks has been completed, half of the supports for the overpass have been installed. Sergey Petrin also clarified that in the area of the Liniya hypermarket it is planned to make not an aboveground crossing, but an underground one. The existing terrain will reduce the number of steps in this case, the mayor said. The design and estimate documentation is being adjusted now.

The head of the city also spoke about the work in the Central district on the formation of storm sewers. They are taking place in the Voronezh Central Park area and began under the Severny Bridge, next to Maxim Gorky Embankment. Sergey Petrin emphasized that this project is important for the city, since the storm sewer network is necessary to service the territories of apartment buildings and social facilities.
Earlier, Sergey Petrin told what the Voronezh budget will be used for in 2025.
