35,500 first-graders will go to school in the Krasnoyarsk Territory this year. This is 5,500 fewer children than in 2020.

The regional Ministry of Education reported that in 2020, more than 41,000 children went to school for the first time. In 2021, the number of first-graders decreased to 40,000. In 2022, the figures dropped to 39,000 children.
In 2023, 38,500 young students went to school for the first time. In 2024, only 35,500 children were enrolled in the first grade, the portal "Our Krasnoyarsk Territory" reports.
