Oleg Cherkasov, Deputy Chairman of the Voronezh City Duma, held an off-site meeting attended by Alexander Bakhtin, head of the Zheleznodorozhny District Council. During the event, it was outlined what work needs to be done here.

Not only the residents of the Zheleznodorozhny district, but also the entire city, turned to the parliamentarian with a request to improve their favorite vacation spot. Oleg Cherkasov supported the initiative. He said that in the near future, a survey of the territory will be conducted together with environmentalists in order to understand what work is needed. This season, experts will clean the mirror of the reservoir and the lake bowl.
"It is necessary to restore order and beauty here. The head and I decided to conduct an inspection together with the Department of Ecology in order to understand what repairs need to be carried out here," Oleg Cherkasov shared.

It should be noted that the "Park by the Lake", which is located next to the Minskaya public transport stop, was laid out in the 60s of the XX century. This green area is in demand among both citizens and visitors of the city. In 2011, reconstruction was carried out here: paths were equipped, fences and benches were installed, lighting was made. They also made a children's playground and a stage. But today, the public space needs to be updated again.
