In total, seven facilities are planned to be built or renovated in Mordovia to provide drinking water to the population. In Krasnoslobodsk, the total length of water supply lines is 38 kilometers. There are five water towers and six artesian wells in the city. During operation, the city's water supply system fell into disrepair. Updating the system will ensure the recharge of existing networks, purification of water from pollution and its storage in the required volumes. Work is underway on Karl Marx, Chapaev and Lenin streets. The construction of a new highway will reduce the load on water supply systems and provide residents with clean drinking water.

In 2024, a project is being implemented in Krasnoslobodsk to create water supply systems and a water tower. More than 57 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. In the process of work, water supply networks with a diameter of 110 mm and a length of 2,645 meters are laid. Experts have already installed two water towers with a height of 15 meters and a volume of 80 cubic meters.
In addition, a 50 cubic meter water collection tank was installed and a diesel power plant was installed. A water purification plant has also been built. Currently, 99% of the total number of scheduled tasks has been completed. At the end of the work in Krasnoslobodsk, 1300 people will have access to high-quality drinking water.
