The Prosecutor's Office of Mordovia stopped almost 20 thousand violations of the law in the first half of 2024

July 29th. /MEDIA TALK/.The supervisory authority summed up the results of the work for six months.

According to the official portal of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Moldova, in the first half of 2024, the prosecutors of the region stopped over 19 thousand violations of the law. About four thousand citizens have been restored to their rights, among them 600 children.

As a result of the intervention of the Prosecutor's Office of the republic, more than 300 residents of the region were able to receive medicines and rehabilitation products prescribed by law. Salary debts to 785 employees of various companies have been repaid. Prosecutors pay special attention to the issues of providing assistance to the participants of the SVO and their families.

It is important to note that work continues in the republic to protect the interests of the state. So a dozen real estate objects were returned to the treasury. Two hundred million debts have been paid to entrepreneurs. More than two hundred unauthorized landfills have also been eliminated.

About 4,000 officials have been prosecuted during this time, 200 of them for violations of anti–corruption legislation.

During the first half of the year, about 9,5 thousand citizens applied to the department on various issues.

Among the main tasks for the future, Prosecutor of Mordovia Sergey Lapin outlined control over the readiness of schools for the new academic year, as well as the preparation of housing and communal services facilities for the heating season and demanded to improve the quality of work with citizens' appeals.
