The "Geographical Dictation" is conducted by the Russian Geographical Society. Experts prepare a quiz of 40 questions for the participants. The answers are given 45 minutes. The questions are devoted not only to geography, but also to related sciences and the heritage of Russia.
The international action takes place at 11,000 sites around the world, even in Antarctica, on board airplanes, on the international space station and in a Buddhist monastery, the Russian Geographical Society said.
Recall that for schoolchildren of the Pushkin district near Moscow, they conducted an excursion to the enterprises of the municipality.
