This year, about 25 km of the roadway was updated in the Angarsk city district. Asphalt was replaced in Angarsk, Megeta and Odinsk, with a total of more than 26 sites. Mayor Sergey Petrov said this during a press conference on the results of road repairs in 2024.

According to the head of the district, the municipality managed to reach record volumes this season thanks to two sources of financing. The funds were received as part of the implementation of the national project "Safe high-quality roads". A regional subsidy for socio-economic development was also allocated.
Angarsk has been participating in the national project "Safe high-quality roads" for seven years. This year, thanks to this project, the entrance to the village of Klyuchevaya and Angarsk, the Old Moscow Highway, as well as Moskovskaya, Zhadnov and Gorky streets were repaired. At the moment, work is still underway on the overpass in Megeta. It should be completed in 2025. And at the same time, they must pass the road bypassing the cemetery in the village of Zui.

Sergey Petrov clarified that the regional subsidy for the municipality in road repairs is also a great help, since not all sites are suitable for the national project. So, thanks to the regional money, 13 km of roads were put in order, including streets in the neighborhoods of Kitoy, Cement, Severny, Staritsa, Kirova and South-Vostochny and others. Also, within the framework of the regional subsidy, the intra-block courtyard entrances were restored and the storm drain serving Market, Festival, Leningradsky Prospekt and part of Socialist Streets were repaired.

According to the municipal program "Yards without pits", repairs were carried out in eight districts of Angarsk. In the 19th microdistrict, in combination with the funds of the United Russia competition, the inter-block passage was restored.
Among the plans for next year, Sergey Petrov announced repairs on the streets of the Comintern, Oleg Koshevoy, Karl Marx. It is also planned to upgrade road sections in Kitoy, Severny, Baikalsk, Megeta and Savvateevka. In total, this is about 40 kilometers of roadway.
