In 2024, Mordovian products received six "organic" certificates. They are issued to enterprises that comply with the rules for growing or manufacturing goods without the use of synthetic pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones and other things. Each company that undergoes strict "organic" control is allowed to label its product with the "Organic" sign. Many customers know and are looking for a sticker on a package with a white sheet on a light green background.
Mordovia is among the top ten certified manufacturers. At the moment, the republic is in seventh place.
Earlier we wrote that more than a dozen manufacturers expressed their desire to produce organic products in Mordovia.
