According to the head of the republic Vladislav Khovalyg, the fleet is replenished with new cars every year. Since 2016, the region has received 284 buses. They will be sent to rural settlements, urban-type settlements and small towns instead of outdated equipment with an expiring service life.
Schools located in hard-to-reach areas, such as Todzha and Mongun-Taiga districts, received high-capacity buses.
Tachographs, speed limiters, flashing lights, driver call buttons and navigation devices are installed in each car to ensure the safety of transporting children. The region has submitted an application for 25 school buses in 2025, the press service of the Government of Tyva reports.
It should be recalled that the design of the international transport corridor through Tuva has begun at the Center for Strategic Research.
