In addition, other work plans of the Voronezh Tourist Information Center were discussed at the meeting. For example, an event calendar for 2025 is being compiled to attract guests to the city. Cultural events are planned. The largest of them should be a gastronomic festival. Within a month and a half, 50 restaurants, cafes and fast food chains will offer a special festive menu based on local products. And tour operators, together with the Tourist Information Center, will develop New Year's routes.

Ekaterina Shramko, director of the center, added that in 2024, the tourist flow to the Voronezh Region amounted to 1 million 306 thousand people.

"Given the climatic features of our region and its convenient location, I think we have great potential in the field of tourism," said Sergey Petrin.

The head of the city noted that it would be useful to calculate how much the city's budget is replenished due to tourist attractiveness, since it is important to understand what contribution this direction can make to the city's economy.

Earlier, we wrote that In Voronezh, residents will be able to record a New Year's greeting for the military in the SVO zone on Admiralteyskaya Square.
