The Greco-Roman wrestling competition closed the student Olympiad. 33 national wrestling teams from various regions of Russia took to the carpets of the Ufa Sports Training Center. A student of the Institute of Geoinformation Technologies and Geography, as well as the Mordovian University Arkhip Pisin, performed in the lightweight up to 63 kilograms. In the decisive match, he lost to Permian Konstantin Vereshchagin and took second place. Gorgud Mejidli, a student of the Saransk Medical Institute, brought another silver medal to the national team of Mordovia in the weight category up to 82 kilograms. The third award, the bronze medal of the Universiade, was won by the master of sports in Greco-Roman wrestling Vitaly Lysov.
