Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva is trying to challenge the situation with her disqualification due to allegations of anti-doping rule violations. The athlete sent a new appeal to the Swiss Federal Court.

The decision to disqualify the Olympic champion was made by the Court of Arbitration for Sport at the end of January 2024. The court rejected a previous attempt to challenge the verdict.
Earlier, the athlete stated that she intends to continue her sports career after the end of the disqualification period. She will be able to participate in competitions at the end of 2025, RIA Novosti reports.
Recall that Olympic champion Borzakovsky will be responsible for the sport of the highest achievements in the VFL.
