Riyadh has been actively interested in hosting esports events in recent years. Among them are such competitions as the Riyadh Masters 2023 for Dota 2 and Gamers8 for CS2.
In 2024, Saudi Arabia is hosting the largest Esports World Cup 2024 championship. It will bring together 30 teams from different countries and compete in 20 disciplines, the Esports portal reports.
