The head of the Polish Ministry of Sports and Tourism demanded to urgently organize an inspection of the country's Olympic Committee. The request is linked to the fact that Polish athletes performed poorly at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Earlier, there was a scandal in the country due to the unsatisfactory results of the Polish Olympic team. The athletes returned with 10 medals, including one gold.
The Minister's claims against PKOL relate to the composition of the delegation and the disposal of money. It is reported that sports officials and their families went to Paris with the participants at the expense of athletes and coaches, for which there was no reason.
For example, the Polish Badminton Federation did not qualify for the competition, but the board members were included in the delegation. In total, there were 13 chairmen of federations at the Olympics who did not receive qualifications. At the same time, three javelin throwers went to the competition without coaches due to a lack of places for team representatives, RIA Novosti reports.
