Vladimir Putin ordered the Government of the Russian Federation to develop and approve the project "Development of physical education and sports" for the period up to 2030, with a view to 2036. The executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation will work on the program.

Within the framework of the project, it was instructed to work out the areas of "Physical culture and sports", "Long and active life", "Youth and children" and "Economics and Finance". The program corresponds to the national development goals of Russia.
The project will include federal programs and individual sports events, national and federal programs. It should be developed by October 30th of this year. Mikhail Mishustin and the heads of the regions of the Russian Federation have been appointed responsible for the execution, according to the official website of the President of Russia.
