Chelyabinsk agro-industrialists will supply their products to Africa and Asia
December 24. /MEDIA TALK/. From January to October, exports of regional agricultural enterprises exceeded $238 million.

Exports of the Chelyabinsk agricultural industry from January to October of this year increased by 15.1 million dollars and amounted to 237.8 million. The region supplies 95 types of products to 33 countries and is the leader among the subjects of the Ural Federal District in the export of agricultural products.

The Chelyabinsk Region supplies flour, cereals, confectionery, sausages and beverages to China and the Central Asian states. Pasta, processed fruits, vegetables and nuts, snacks, and animal feed are shipped to Asian and Persian Gulf countries. Sunflower oil, margarine, and mayonnaise are shipped to Central and Southeast Asia.

Also in 2024, representatives of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and food processing enterprises participated in 10 tasting and demonstration events.

Ice cream has become the most popular export product in the dairy industry this year. It began to be supplied to Tajikistan. One of the companies also agreed with a Chinese company to sell powdered milk, cottage cheese and butter through an electronic platform.

Chelyabinsk farmers plan to enter the North African market, strengthen their work with China, India and other countries on barley and wheat, and continue working with Kazakhstan.

In 2025, agricultural enterprises intend to promote their products in the markets of Tajikistan, India, Tunisia, Algeria, Pakistan, Vietnam and China. The Regional Ministry of Agriculture will continue to provide support to exporters, hold meetings with foreign delegations and work with companies in the agro-industrial sector, the press service of the Government of the Chelyabinsk region reports.
