Chelyabinsk farmers were allocated 70 million rubles for partial compensation for the construction of grain storage facilities
February 13th. /MEDIA TALK/. This year, 11 agricultural enterprises in the Chelyabinsk Region are planning to build new grain storage facilities. Over the past two years, 70 million rubles have been allocated to partially compensate for the construction of grain warehouses.

The money allocated from the regional budget helped to build 17 storage facilities and upgrade the equipment at the seed plant. Participants of the Interregional Agro-industrial Conference "IAC-2025" said that the head of the region, Alexey Texler, supported farmers with subsidies when enterprises were suffering due to bad weather.

Farms have had their income tax reset to zero by the end of 2026. The agricultural industry was also greatly helped by the modernization project. The farms managed to continue their development.

From 2023 to 2024, grain storage facilities with a total capacity of 78,000 tons were built. In order to receive subsidies, farmers must provide a warehouse project, a construction permit for the facility, an expert opinion, an act of commissioning the facility and documents on ownership.

Last year, the financing helped farmers recover 40% of their confirmed expenses. This year, payments under the subsidy are scheduled for September, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk region said.
