Employees of SUE "TEK SPb" and JSC "Teploset St. Petersburg‐St. Petersburg" scanned the heating networks with robotic complexes. In the period from May to November, 28 kilometers of the pipeline network were checked.
According to Governor Alexander Beglov, the reliability and quality of heat supply to residential buildings, social facilities and enterprises is one of the main conditions for creating a comfortable living environment for citizens.
For several years, power engineers have been actively reconstructing and diagnosing the condition of the networks. Modern materials and innovative technologies, including robotic systems, make it possible to detect corrosion and prevent damage to pipes in time.

During 2024, experts checked 49 sections of heating mains in 12 districts of the Northern capital. This made it possible to identify 1090 points where the pipe wall is thinner than the standard one. After the diagnosis, more than 560 meters of heating systems were replaced. This increased the reliability of heat supply for 1.5 million residents of the city, the Administration of St. Petersburg reported.
Recall that in St. Petersburg, more than a kilometer of pipes of the Polyustrovskaya heating main are being reconstructed.
