Lipetsk farmers have grown 145,200 tons of greenhouse vegetables and salads since the beginning of 2024. This indicator is comparable to the results of last year.

This year, the most tomatoes were grown - 73,100 tons. Cucumbers are in second place, 70,000 tons have been harvested. 2,100 tons of lettuce have been grown in Yelets district. The region continues to occupy a leading position in vegetable harvesting.
According to Governor Igor Artamonov, greenhouses of the 4th and 5th generations operate in the region. These structures make it possible to harvest twice as much as conventional greenhouses, the press service of the Government of the Lipetsk region reports.
It should be recalled that about 90 million rubles have been invested in the modernization of the Lipetsk Polymer enterprise.
