The head of the regional Department of Agriculture, Sergey Bubnov, said that state support for the agro-industrial complex has doubled since last year. Almost 938 million rubles will be allocated to state programs for the development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural markets in the region. Almost 650 million rubles more will be allocated for the integrated development of rural areas.

The money will be used to develop crop production, animal husbandry and provide agricultural workers with modern agricultural machinery. Targeted support measures for farmers and cooperatives will also be extended.
During the year, Agromotivator grants will be introduced for aspiring entrepreneurs from among combat veterans and participants in special operations, the Ivanovo regional government said.
