The tourist and recreational zone will be located in the south of Kuzbass, in the Tashtagolsky district. As part of the project, it is planned to build sports and tourist facilities, hotel complexes and ski trails. The total investment in the project will amount to more than 40 billion rubles, and over 4,000 new jobs will be created.

An additional 2.08 billion rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for infrastructure development until 2039.
The day before, the Government approved the creation of three more new SEZs: "Vologda", "Bolshoy Serpukhov" and "Novosibirsk". It was also decided to expand the current Orenburg Region zone. The expansion of the Technopolis SEZ in Moscow was also announced.
