Cancellation of roaming and more. Russia and Belarus deepen cooperation

November 5th. /MEDIA TALK/. During the meeting, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Belarus Roman Golovchenko signed a number of agreements. They relate to the introduction of tariffs without roaming (according to the cost of calls to the "home" network), the assignment of a special status to the products of manufacturers of the two countries as goods of the Union State, the expansion of suburban railway communication between the subjects of the Russian Federation and the regions of the Republic of Belarus. It is also planned to create unified quality standards for goods and services.

It has been planned to cancel roaming between countries for a long time, for several years. According to Mikhail Mishustin, new tariffs for Russian and Belarusian subscribers should be launched from March 1, 2025.
