Export duties on legumes from January 1 will amount to 5%
December 28. /MEDIA TALK/. Since January 2025, the Russian government has set fixed export duties of 5% on certain varieties of leguminous crops - peas, chickpeas and lentils. Until now, when exporting products outside the Eurasian Economic Union, there were floating rates of fees – their amount varied from 4 to 7%, depending on the ruble exchange rate. The measure should help maintain a balance between domestic and external consumption of legumes, according to the Government.
