February 21st. /MEDIA TALK/. The Antimonopoly Authority has launched an investigation against Regstar-M LLC in connection with the cost of a bottle of water in the areas after inspection in Moscow's Vnukovo.

The Agency is investigating the validity of water tariffs in departure areas on domestic and international flights. If illegal actions are detected, a penalty will be imposed on the company and an order will be issued to review the cost.

At the end of 2024, a half-liter bottle of water was offered at Vnukovo for 150 rubles, while the cost of a similar product outside the airport was a maximum of 70 rubles.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service has repeatedly taken measures against excessive pricing of terminals. In January 2025, the agency opened a case on overstating the cost of parking near St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport, the price per hour of parking reached 1,000 rubles. The management of the organization was instructed to reduce the tariff within twenty days.

The Antimonopoly Service pointed out that the increase in parking costs was unjustified, and drivers were not provided with alternative options.
