The testing was carried out with the transfer of funds through the bank's mobile application to treasury accounts in digital rubles, and the transfer of amounts from the budget to the client's account. As explained in the credit institution, for the user, debit and replenishment of the account is carried out through an interface familiar to him, although the transaction itself takes place on the digital currency platform of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

The widespread use of the digital ruble, according to the plans of the Central Bank, should begin in the summer of 2025. By this time, the largest banks will have to provide the necessary infrastructure for customers and comply with the relevant regulatory requirements.
At the end of last year, Sberbank and T-bank joined the experiment to test the digital ruble.
