Serbia and Russia to hold talks on gas supplies to the republic after 2025
September 6th. /MEDIA TALK/. On Friday, September 6, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin announced the imminent start of negotiations on gas supplies from Russia. The corresponding agreement between the countries expires in 2025, TASS reported, citing the politician's press service.

Vulin noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin "cares about Serbia." He also stressed that for Russia, trade exchange with the country is a "statistical error", but it is very important for the Balkan state.

The foreign politician added that he could not imagine how Serbia would have survived this winter without Russian gas. He also stressed that the final decision on the extension of the contract will be made by the presidents of the two countries.

It should be noted that the deputy head of the Serbian government, Aleksandar Vulin, came to Vladivostok to take part in the Eastern Economic Forum. There he met with President Vladimir Putin.

Recall that in mid-August it was reported that this year the Russians opened more than two thousand companies in Serbia. At the same time, it became known that 7290 entrepreneurs with Russian citizenship were developing business in the country.
