Starting from January 1, 2025, the minimum pension in Moscow will be 25,850 rubles

December 4th. /MEDIA TALK/. Starting from the New Year in Moscow, the amount of the regional pension supplement will increase, as a result, the minimum payment to a Muscovite will amount to 25,850 rubles. The 5.5% indexation will affect, among other things, large families, families of deceased servicemen and other categories.

As noted on the website of the Moscow City Hall, funds will traditionally be allocated from the budget for payments on memorable dates, including the anniversaries of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The minimum federal pension in the country from January 1 will be 15,250 rubles, in St. Petersburg, taking into account the regional allowance, 19,116 rubles.

Starting from February 1, 2025, pensions for working pensioners will also be indexed throughout the country. The relevant amendments were adopted in the summer.
