Financial institutions consider the modernization and expansion of loyalty programs, an increase in the number of customers and an increase in the volume of bank card payments to be the main factors in increasing the amount of cashback.
In 2024, Sberbank users received more than 179 billion bonuses under the Sberbank program, which can be used to pay for goods from the bank's partners. Customers used this service 38% more than over the past year, and the amount of bonuses used reached 186 billion rubles, taking into account accumulated points for previous periods.

T-bank provided its customers with more than 90 billion rubles of cashback (an increase of 8% compared to last year). Over 10 billion rubles of this amount was accrued due to transactions via T-Pay (an increase of 10 times).
Promsvyazbank has managed to increase its results by 50% compared to 2023 and has transferred 3.6 billion bonus points to its customers. Sovcombank provided its clients with remuneration in the amount of 3.9 billion rubles, which is 10% more than last year.
According to VTB forecasts, the total cost of loyalty programs of Russian banks may reach a historic maximum of 500 billion rubles as early as 2025.
