The Ministry of Finance expects 20 IPOs of companies worth 4.5 trillion rubles annually

On Monday, August 19, it became known that the Ministry of Finance predicts 20 IPOs of companies with a total value of 4.5 trillion rubles annually for the period from 2025 to 2030. According to the ministry's plans, 22% or one trillion rubles of this amount should ensure the initial placement of securities of state-owned companies, Vedomosti reported with reference to the department's materials.

The forecast is contained in the draft of the federal project "Financial Market Development" prepared by the Ministry. With its help, the goals of the May presidential decree should be achieved to increase the capitalization of the stock market to 66% of GDP by 2030, as well as to increase the share of long-term savings of Russians in their total volume to 40%. The document is included in the presentation of the national project "Efficient and competitive Economy".

The Ministry of Finance stressed that the implementation of the federal project will not require any costs. At the same time, work on the document has not yet been completed, the department noted.

Recall that last week Rostelecom confirmed plans for the IPO of its cloud business. It was about the public offering of securities of the RTK-Data Center organization.
