The United States imposes new duties on steel imports from March 12
February 11th. /MEDIA TALK/. Starting from March 12, 2025, new 25% duties on steel and aluminum imports will come into force in the United States.

The relevant document is published on the White House website. The measure will affect countries such as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Canada, the European Union, Mexico, South Korea and Japan. The move was part of President Donald Trump's trade strategy aimed at supporting American manufacturers. The decision to impose duties on steel and aluminum was announced the day before.
