Vologda medical organizations received 25 new cars under the primary care modernization program and the national Healthcare project.
The cars have increased cross-country ability to get to remote settlements. The equipment is designed to provide emergency medical care, transport patients and deliver biomaterials to the laboratory.

Babaevskaya, Vytegrskaya, Ustyuzhenskaya, Kirillovskaya, Velikoustyugskaya, Gryazovetskaya, Kichmengsko-Gorodetskaya, Chagodoshchenskaya, Sheksninskaya, Nyuksenskaya, Ternoga and Nikolskaya central district hospitals received the machines.
In 2025, another 25 cars will be purchased under this program, the Government of the Vologda Region reported.
Earlier, a room for social and household adaptation of people with disabilities was opened in the region.
