The Moscow State Duma banned the sale of alcohol at night in apartment buildings
The 14th of February. /MEDIA TALK/. The Moscow Regional Duma has adopted a law on the restriction of the retail sale of alcohol in public catering in apartment buildings. The relevant decision was made during the 104th meeting on Friday, February 14th.

The ban will be in effect from 23:00 to 08:00 hours. According to Igor Bryntsalov, Chairman of the Moscow State Duma, many Russian regions supported this path. This decision is aimed at limiting the operation of "bulk carriers" at night. The requirement does not apply to restaurants.

In addition, legislative innovations have tightened the requirements for licensing alcohol sales. Now the authorized capital of a company selling alcohol must be at least one million rubles in order to obtain a trade permit. The rules will take effect on September 1, 2025, the Moscow region Duma was informed.
