Samara Mayor Ivan Noskov stressed that the city authorities pay special attention to sports infrastructure. The construction of new focs in the districts will make sports more accessible to the citizens. At the moment, work is underway on several facilities. They will be completed in 2025.

The new sports complex in the Leninsky district is currently being connected to the electric grid, sewerage, water supply, and a gas boiler house is being commissioned. Further, the territory will be landscaped around the FOK and an outdoor sports ground will be built. The facility will be assigned to the Samara Physical Education and Sports Development Center.
The complex will host regional competitions and trainings in playing sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, judo, taekwondo, kickboxing, freestyle wrestling, rhythmic gymnastics and sports dancing, the press service of the Samara Administration said.
It should be recalled that a new bicycle rental center is planned to open in the Samara region in the spring.
