january 24th. /MEDIA TALK/. The final meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Health of the Republic was held in Saransk, which was attended by the Head of Mordovia, Atrem Zdunov. At the meeting, the results of the work for 2024 were summed up and the participants also discussed plans for the current period.

Oleg Markin, the Minister of Health of the region, stressed that the key goals are to improve the demographic situation and maintain the health of citizens. In 2024, the six-year implementation period of the national Healthcare project ended. During this time, more than 16 billion rubles have been allocated for the development of the Mordovian healthcare system. As part of the project, new facilities were built: the polyclinic of the Republican Oncological Dispensary, the surgical building of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital and the children's polyclinic in the Ruzaevskaya Central District Hospital. In addition, 11 buildings of medical institutions in the region were overhauled. In addition, 33 new mobile medical complexes, 50 vehicles and 1,040 units of medical equipment were purchased. As part of the project, 4 new FAPs were created, 70 paramedic stations and 1 outpatient clinic were replaced. The ambulance helicopter performed 380 flights.

Thanks to the national project "Long and active life", which became the successor of the national project "Healthcare", 12 hospitals and polyclinics of the republic are planning to be renovated this year.

Alexey Alagulov, who holds the position of Chief Physician of the S. V. Katkov Republican Clinical Hospital, spoke at the board meeting. He said that in the region, almost 60% of surgical procedures are performed using modern minimally invasive techniques.

The head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, stressed the importance of introducing digital technologies in the healthcare sector and instructed the relevant department to develop and implement a convenient system for recording medical professionals, while maintaining alternative recording methods.
