Cybersecurity classes were held in three schools of Saransk
February 3rd. /MEDIA TALK/. High school students, under the guidance of experts from the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Mordovia, completed tasks within the framework of open "Digital Lessons".

In particular, Nikita Zvyagintsev, an information security specialist from the Information Security Coordination Department of the Ministry of Digital Development of Mordovia, met with 11th grade students at Lyceum No. 31. The participants of the training were faced with virtual trials in which characters find themselves in a variety of circumstances where their online safety is constantly at risk.

Another open "Lesson in numbers" on the topic "Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence" was held for 8th grade students of school No. 30. Pavel Lipasov, Head of the Department of Interdepartmental Information Systems of the Ministry of Finance of Mordovia, met with the students. During the lesson, students received information about how attackers exploit the potential of neural networks and how to safely interact with artificial intelligence. The principles of machine learning algorithms were also considered.

At school No. 27, Sergey Cheryomushkin, Head of the Strategic Planning and Government Programs Department of the Ministry of Culture of Mordovia, met with 9th grade students. The students learned about methods for identifying potentially dangerous websites and ways to protect personal information when using artificial intelligence services. During the lesson, a situation was considered when, while using a chatbot with built-in artificial intelligence to prepare a report, the heroes accidentally downloaded a file containing malicious code.

Since 2025, educational events in the field of digital technologies will be held within the framework of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the state", which replaced the national project "Digital Economy" and will operate until 2030. These will be both special lessons and training programs for improving digital literacy.
