In the Samara region, a vote is being held to connect villages to the mobile Internet next year. The project is being implemented within the framework of the program "Elimination of digital inequality" and the national project "Digital Economy of Russia" for settlements with a population of 100 to 500 people.

As a result of the event, the Ministry of Digital Development will select villages and villages that will be connected to high-speed Internet in 2025. You can choose a locality on the website of Gosuslugi. According to the terms of the promotion, there should be no mobile Internet in it. It is also necessary that the distance to the connection point is less than 70 kilometers.
For three years, residents of 117 settlements in the region have been able to use voice communication and mobile Internet. By 2030, the authorities plan to provide mobile Internet to all villages and villages with a population of 100 to 500 inhabitants, the press service of the Samara City District Administration reports.
