In Tuva, more than half of the former prisoners who applied to the employment service were employed.
January 10th. /MEDIA TALK/. In 2024, employment service specialists in Tuva helped 96 former prisoners find jobs. Of all those who applied, 38 people got permanent jobs, 21 citizens were sent to temporary or community service, 15 people became self-employed, and 4 more people signed a social contract.

Persons who have returned from places of detention often have difficulty finding employment. This is due to various reasons, including lack of education, psychological worries, self-doubt and problems with social adaptation.
