Thus, Boris Uretsky said that the Pushkin Musical and Drama Theater had reached important agreements. In particular, next year the play "The Scarlet Flower" will be included in the repertoire, the music for which was composed by Juliana Donskaya, and the libretto was written by Natalia Kuzminykh. The viewer is familiar with her from the production of "Little Red Riding Hood and the Gray Wolf". Also in 2025, the theater will release the premiere of the play "The Pirate - Blackbeard". It will be written for the theater by composer Valentin Ovsyannikov and artistic director of the Moscow Children's Variety Theater, playwright Lev Yakovlev.
One of the topics of the conference was the discussion of the festival "To see Music". It took place in October and gathered in its poster more than 30 performances of musical theaters in Russia and CIS countries. The Pushkin Musical and Drama Theater presented
the musical "The Bride" at the festival, which was a great success on the stage of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Center in Moscow. The tenth anniversary festival will be held next year.
It should be noted that participation in the Association of Musical Theaters of Russia allows the Pushkin Musical Drama Theater to learn from the best representatives of the genre and introduce new forms into its productions.
