Every year the region participates in the federal project "Integrated Rural Development". The purpose of the events is to improve the lives of citizens living in small towns.
According to the governor, everyone should have equal opportunities to lead a healthy lifestyle and comfortable living conditions. In 2025, as part of a project by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, spaces in 6 rural settlements of the Vologda region will be landscaped.

The list of works includes the repair of roads, the arrangement of squares and the formation of zones for sports activities. According to the results of the events, more than 7,500 villagers should have access to modern, comfortable and functional spaces.
Thus, as part of federal support in the village of Mikhalevo, Cherepovets district, it is planned to repair roads and equip a courtyard passage with parking in the village of Bereznik, Vologda district.
Two hockey courts will be built in Verkhovazhye and Kozhaevo Nikolsky districts. Landscaping of public gardens is planned in the village of Novlenskoye in the Vologda region and the village of Nikola in the Ustyuzhensk district.
Over the past five years, 62 projects have been implemented in the region to improve the quality of life in villages, the press service of the Vologda Oblast Government said.
Recall that a new system of control and logistics of preferential medicines is being introduced in the Vologda region.
