The contract provides for the supply of 20 machine kits during 2024 and another 20 units in 2025. The trams that arrived at the depot will serve the routes of the right-bank part of the city.
In Belarus, seats, handrails, traction drive and electrical wiring are installed in the body. In Novosibirsk, cars are equipped with running gear, heating, information system, navigation and video surveillance. There are 4 doors in the carriage instead of three, as before. The car has a modern ergonomic design, there are air conditioners.
Validators for non-cash payment of the trip are also installed inside. Up to 130 passengers can travel in the carriage at the same time. It is expected that the trams will enter the routes in September, the press service of the Novosibirsk administration reports.
