
According to Oleg Cherkasov, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, since Voronezh is developing rapidly, the number of people in the districts is changing, which is why districts need to be adjusted, because each should have approximately the same number of voters. At the same time, Oleg Cherkasov noted that the number of districts themselves will remain the same – there are 24 of them in Voronezh.

Recall that on September 14, 2025, Voronezh will host elections of deputies to the City Duma of the VI convocation.
Also at the last meeting, the parliamentarians approved the report of the Head of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Voronezh on the results of operational activities over the past year. We discussed the possibility of introducing video cameras with face recognition on the streets of the city to prevent crimes. To do this, Duma Speaker Vladimir Khodyrev recommended sending a corresponding proposal to the governor of the region and the Mayor of Voronezh, Sergey Petrin, in order to prepare a regulatory framework for the installation of video recording devices.

In addition, the deputies amended the Regulations on the creation and maintenance of green spaces and approved the transfer of municipal property to the Center for the Prevention of Socially Significant Diseases and the regional public organization of the Disabled for free use.
