In Chelyabinsk, it is planned to install equipment from Turkey at the treatment facilities next year. The update will take place without turning off the water supply.
The reconstruction will be carried out in several stages. First, the contractor will build mechanical cleaning systems, and then build a bio-purification complex and an ultraviolet water disinfection station.
A multi-stage water purification system allows you to rid it of unpleasant odors, which are now felt in the Metallurgical district of Chelyabinsk. This is due to the storage of cleaning waste in an open space.
The new treatment complex will allow to process sludge, dehydrate it, and dispose of the dry sediment. The purified water will be sent back to the sewer. The upgrade will reduce emissions by 70-80%.

In addition, the current capacity of facilities in Chelyabinsk does not exceed 280 thousand cubic meters per day. The update will help to increase the volume to 400 thousand cubic meters.
The modernization of treatment systems is carried out with funds from the regional and municipal budgets and at the expense of a loan from the National Welfare Fund. About 1.96 billion rubles have been invested in the work.
Almost all of the equipment used is manufactured in Russia. And decanters of treatment plants (centrifuges for two-phase separation) were purchased in Turkey, Moskovsky Komsomolets Chelyabinsk reports.
