VEB has invested more than 9 billion rubles in the renovation of the Lipetsk tram fleet

February 20th. /MEDIA TALK/. In Lipetsk, thanks to the support of the VEB RF Development Corporation, the tram fleet has been completely renovated. The organization has invested 9.3 billion rubles in the project, including money from the National Welfare Fund.

The total cost of the project was 14.5 billion rubles. The modernization of the tram fleet will allow connecting new residential districts of Lipetsk with the Left Bank, which is home to large industrial plants.

In 2025, 5,200 meters will be built in the city and 40,800 meters of tram tracks will be reconstructed. The plans also include the repair of the depot and the modernization of the contact network, according to the Telegram channel of the VEB RF Development Corporation.
